Restaurant Pihlajasaari
Restaurant Pihlajasaari is located on the island of Pihlajasaari in front of Helsinki, only 10 minutes by boat from Kaivopuisto.
The island is one of the most popular summer oases for native Helsinki residents. The fully-licenced café-restaurant of the island has served customers in an 120-year-old wooden villa, called villa Hällebo, for over 80 years.
Restaurant Pihlajasaari has 190 seats, 90 of which inside the villa and the rest on two outside terraces.
There is an excellent view to the open sea from the front terrace situated on natural rock whereas from the smaller back terrace Helsinki can be seen.
The restaurant provides Finnish specialities, e.g. smoked salmon from the own smokery and home made doughnuts. Private occasions can be arranged on request.
On the island there is a boat harbour for those who come by their own boat.

Location and how to get
Restaurant Pihlajasaari is located on the island of Pihlajasaari in front of Helsinki near Kaivopuisto.
The connection ferry to Pihlajasaari leaves from Merisatama behind Cafe´ Carusel. Busses number 14 and 17 and trams number 3T and 3B take you near Merisatama.
